What? You'rrre not a robot!?

humans.txt

a [obscure] way to sign a website...

What is humans.txt?

humans.txt

humans.txt is a way of knowing the human involvement with a website. It's a plain text file (.txt) that contains information about those humans. This text file is simple and fast to create, and does not interfere with any code. It is placed in the site root like robots.txt. (Inspired by humanstxt.org.)

My file looks like this...

Yes, of course, I use markdown. ;)

## Communication protocols

**Phone greylisting:** If you call me and I don't have your phone number in
my address book, I may not answer. Leave a message so I can add your
name and phone number to my address book and there will be a much better
chance that I will answer the next time you call.

**Dropped call:** If a call gets cut off before we are finished talking,
the person who originally made the call, re-establishes the call.
This eliminates the problem of both of us trying to re-establish the call
and each getting the other's voicemail.

**Nothing heard:** If you call, or we are in the middle of a conversation, and
you hear me say something like "Hello? Did I lose you? Nothing heard." and hang
up. It is because I didn't hear you. I say `Nothing heard`, so you don't think
that I hung up on you on purpose. (See `dropped call` above.)
